Madagascar Rough Gem Stone Order Page

Rough gem stone orders are easy and simple because we have an office in the USA to handle importation and payments.

If you live in the USA (and most other countries) the rough is shipped from our USA office, and payments go to our bank in the USA.

For large first time purchases, we may meet you at a Chase Bank to complete rough gem stone inspection, delivery, and transfer of funds.

Orders are otherwise delivered by Priority Mail, or an express delivery service... after receipt of your payment.

Payments totaling $300 or more are paid by wire transfer - or check, if time is not a consideration. Payments under $300 may be paid through PayPal or wire transfer.

Very large orders are subject to price and delivery schedule negotiations. (Mining production is subject to the seasons, especially the cyclone season... and the rice harvesting season.)

We make a special effort to sell our quality rough for A Little Less than gem trade market prices. In this way your business and our business will grow, and the miners will share the benefit. (See the pricing strategy here.)

The miners depend on us for instant payment to feed their families, and we depend on them for production. The rough gem stone emerald mining is arduous and we encourage safe practices.

While safe practices add to costs, it is found to have rewards. For example, using pumps to remove water from the mines. Petrol for the pumps often must be hand carried while walking many kilometers through the bush. This adds expense, but better conditions improve production.

Delivery charges from our USA office are added to all orders. We ship in bulk from Madagascar to our USA office to disperse the expense.

Send us an email using the link below to receive price and availability information. Please inform us of...

Your affiliation in the gem trade

The species, colors, and quantities that you contemplate buying

Price breaks are based on total quantity.

Your satisfaction is guaranteed. You may return the rough unaltered within 15 days for a refund of the purchase price. We have never had an order returned, because we sell fine facet rough that will make money for you.

Our business is continually changing. When we started, we deliberately avoided operating our own mines. However, events such as...

Relocating our Madagascar operating location
Protecting our gem deposits from foreign investors
Improving  availability and production

... have now led us into the mining business. Here is a friendly-but-terse recount of how we currently conduct commerce:

  1. We mine certain types of rough
  2. We continue to add types of rough as they are discovered on our mining grounds
  3. We source from other miners roughs we do not mine
  4. We notify customers of availability via our Bulletin publication
  5. Customers tell us which parcels they want to buy
  6. We ship all parcels to our USA office
  7. Customer pays
  8. We sort parcels and ship to each customer
  9. Customer receives and observes parcels
  10. Customer keeps parcels, or returns a parcel for refund
  11. We do not keep a stock of rough
  12. We do not sell individual pieces of rough... we sell parcels

Thank you for your business. we appreciate the opportunity to serve your needs.
